Ebay Makes Paypal Mandatory

On 16th May ebay moved to make Paypal a mandatory offering for all sellers listing items in the Jewellery category, and also for all sellers with a feedback score of under 100.

Ebay are planning to extend this to all sellers as of 3rd June. For those sellers who do not wish to accept Paypal as a method of payment this will add a cost of  3.4% + 20p to every transaction made via Paypal.

This is of course on to of any ebay fees already charged.
