9ct Sovereign Coins

A number of these have been presented to us and other members of the trade in Hatton Garden.

If you are presented with any of these there are two absolute give-away signs.

1. Probably most obviously the colour. The 9ct coins look a lot less ‘yellow’ than the 22ct version.

2. The weight. The 9ct versions are coming in at 7grams for a full sovereign copy and 3.5grams for a half sovereign copy.
