Copper Cored Torque Bangles

As the gold price continues to remain at a high, the industry becomes more attractive to scammers.

The latest manifestation of this seems to be in very professional production of torque bangles (particularly in 18ct) that have a thick gold outer sleeve, filled with a cooper rod to make the weight heavy.

There are lots of these about at the moment and you really do need to cut deep into them before the acid test picks up the copper. Once again, be careful with these as they can be very hard to spot due to the highly professional manufacture.
