New Price Layout

There is now one price band for all - After many comments from our customers we have decided to make a one payment for all system, live on the website.

We have now added a new price layout on the from page to include the following carats, 9ct,10ct,12ct,14ct,15ct,18ct,20ct,21ct,22ct and 24ct.

Old Paper Send In Form Removed - New Admin Area Revealed

As market leaders Hatton Garden Metals continue to inovate with changes to keep our website unique from all of our competitors. We have removed the old paper send in form with a fully automated online form, Each submission is now allocated a unique order number which helps you the customer to keep track of the progress of your order at all stages.

Once you have filled out the online form you will be e-mailed a copy which you can now print / sign and add with your items in you special delivery. This saves time and hasle with the old printed form.

You will also receive an e-mail with a randomly generated login / password which then allows you to login in to your personal admin area so you can keep full track of your parcel as it travels through our processing system. You will be able to submit any following forms without the hassle of entering all of your details time and time again, all you will need to tell us is what your are sending and how you wish to be paid as the rest is filled in automatically once you are logged in.

This new admin area will make your online experience with Hatton Garden Metals easier to use and take out the frustration that other websites bring.

Once logged in the process stages that can be seen are as follows:

"Enquiery Received"
"Goods Received"
"Goods Processed"
"Paid"

As long as you use the same e mail address each time you will always be able to log in and view past and recent enquiries.

Fastest Payment System

This admin area will help Hatton Garden Metals continue to be the fastest paying scrap gold service on the internet, Customers that choose the BACS (bank transfer) system as prefered payment method or paypal will normally receive cleared funds by middday on the day we receive your parcel. In most cases that less than 24hrs from the moment it leaves your possesion. Cheque payments are posted the day we receive your items and normally are delivered next day by 1st class by Royal Mail, if you log in and see your oder is in a "PAID" status you can feel comfortable that this has then alreay been done.

Please note that if your bank is not one of the banks that are on the faster payment system then your payment will take 3 days. This is a banking issue and not an issue with Hatton Garden Metals.

Silver

We have also added Silver to the drop down menu on the Calculator, We realise that 99% of our customer work out there scrap using the gram method so we decided after listening to suggestions to add the option in grams rather than in troy ounces. This feature makes it simple to work out the value of your scrap silver in just seconds.

For a quick reference we have aslo added the Silver gram price to the Home Page and to the Scrap Gold Price page. This price updates around midday should you wish to have a look just after midday this will give you the accurate days price. Before this time the price shown would be the price from the previous day.
