Q: How quickly will I be paid?

Once we have opened your parcel, the payment is queued to be paid.

Payment will be in your account before 5pm if your bank subscribes to the Faster Payment Service.

If your bank is not on the faster payment service then your payment will clear in 3 working days. (please check on your payment e mails as this information is placed between the 2 lines of ****** just below the total of your payment.

If you send in multiple parcels, the payment will not be the same time for each parcel as they may be opened at different times, so please bear this in mind before calling as this slows the payment process down for you and all the other customers.

If you have checked the Royal Mail website and it shows as your parcel being delivered then please bear with us as we process many parcels each day; your parcel may show an early delivery time but may not be opened until later that day.

If you have not received your payment before 5pm, then give the office a call in the morning or send us an e-mail and we will investigate why this was not the case.

We pay all payments on the day of receipt, providing there is no pending authorisation for your job. If your bank subscribes to the faster payment
scheme, these funds will be cleared within approximately two hours. Payments over £10,000 are subject to fraud checks and can take up to 3 working days.

All cheque payments are sent out on the day we receive your goods via Royal Mail first class post.

How do you calculate the amount that I will get paid?

All payments are made off the morning gold fix on the day that we receive your items. Our online gold and silver calculator is updated along with the London gold fix. You will be paid based on the carat value and weight of your items.
