10 MONTHS FREE STORAGE on all gold orders
Our 10 months FREE storage offer is available to all orders for gold metal placed by customers through our website no matter the value, this is supplemented by the terms and conditions of our website. On top of this, your free storage will apply to all additional orders made within this 8-month period. Payments will be requested after your free storage period ends, which is calculated as 8 months after your first order is placed.
In order to activate your storage account, we require all customers to upload the following documents to their online account with us:
- Photographic ID – a valid Passport or UK Driving License.
- Proof of Address – a Utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 2 months (mobile phone bills / TV licenses will not be accepted).
These documents need to be uploaded to your online account, this is simple to do through our website, or via email with our office staff. Storage will not be available to customers who fail to provide us with the relevant documents. If a customer moves home whilst having an active storage account, Hatton Garden Metals must be notified as soon as possible and their new documents will need to be uploaded and verified onto your online portal.
After your free storage period ends, calculated as 10 months after your first order with storage, payment for storage must be made monthly in arrears via direct debit, credit/debit card or BACS transfer. Any changes to your payment plan will always be communicated to you 30 days in advance of any payment being taken.
We reserve the right to amend of change our free storage offering at any time.
Releasing Your Stored Items
1) Selling back to Hatton Garden Metals
Simply call the office during opening hours to lock in your price. Your metal will be valued on the live spot price. You will then need to login to your account and instruct your metal to be sold. Following this, we will then arrange for your physical metal to be returned to us. Once your metal has arrived back at our store, payment will be made via Faster Payment BACS to your specified linked bank account. Please note that as we are retrieving physical metal, payment will only be made once your metal has reached our London store.
2) Delivery of your items
All deliveries are subject to a £6.95 insured shipment fee. Delivery of stored items can take up to 2 working days as your items must first be returned to our store before then being dispatched to your address. We are only able to send metal to the address on your storage account.
3) Collection of your items
Your items are stored with our third-party contractor, in a secured vault and you are therefore unable to collect your items directly from the storage facility. You are able to arrange collection at our London store via your online account Your items will usually be available to collect on the same day if collection is requested in the morning between our opening hours and you will receive an email when they are ready to be collected.
