Our Guarantee: Our policy is to keep our customers happy and to be able to buy with confidence, this extends to our return policy. We offer our customers a FREE hassle-free refund policy. If you are not totally happy with an item, with the exception of earrings (due to hygiene reasons), all items are eligible for a refund or exchange within 28 days making shopping with us at HGM simple and hassle free. 

Set out below are the standard terms and conditions of Hatton Garden Metals Ltd (HGM) which apply in respect of the Gold and Silver jewellery purchasing, (the 'Services') offered via HGM, (the 'Website'). References to 'Hatton Garden Metals', 'we', 'us' and 'our' are to Hatton Garden Metals.

2.1 When you place an order with us, you are making an offer to buy goods. We will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order.

2.2 Once we have received payment for your order, we will e-mail you again to confirm that we accept your order.

2.3 In the unlikely event that the goods are no longer available, or that we have made a pricing mistake, we will advise you of this. We reserve the right to cancel your order in these circumstances.

2.4 Whilst we try to be as accurate as possible, all information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.

2.5 This Contract is covered by English law.

2.6 By placing an order with us, you agree to and accept these terms, as well as our privacy policy and the terms of website use

3.1 You can use our website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your basket. Items you do not require can be removed from your basket at any time.

3.2 Carriage charges will be shown prior to you placing your order.

3.3 You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.

3.4 We use secure payment facilities for online purchases.

3.5 Promotional prices only apply during the period stated.

3.6 All prices quoted on our website are in UK pounds.

3.7 Once your order has been confirmed, changes may not be possible or may incur additional charges or delays.

3.8 Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an email confirmation.

4.1 Goods will normally be dispatched from our stock within 24 hours and any estimated dispatch date is an estimate, which can change without notice.

4.2 We will normally deliver goods within 2-3 working days of dispatch, unless a premium service has been purchased.

4.3 Your order may arrive in more than one delivery.

4.4 We can deliver our products anywhere in mainland Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the Channel Islands.

4.5 We will deliver the goods to the premises you specify on your order. It is your responsibility to ensure that you can securely receive the goods and that they cannot be intercepted by others at that address. You must be able to personally accept delivery of your order.

4.6 We are unable to accept any liability for packages that have been delivered to houses of multiple occupancy, work addresses, PO boxes, and mail boxes or where a postal redirection is in place once signed for or confirmed by our couriers as delivered to that address. We will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended.

4.7 Please check the goods on delivery - any goods found to be missing, incorrect or damaged should be notified to us immediately on receipt and within seven days of our dispatch to you or subject to a reasonability test.

4.8 Sometimes, for reasons beyond our control we may be prevented from delivering your goods as planned. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, acts of god, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers. We will try to put things right as soon as possible; however, we can't be responsible where this causes a delay or failure in delivering your goods.

5.1 This policy does not apply to goods ordered by businesses which are exempt from the Distance Selling Regulations.

5.2 Our refund policy is hassle-free and is within 28 days of your order being dispatched. Items should be un-worn and in their original condition.

5.2a When returning an item(s) we provide a pre-paid postage label. Your parcel should be packed carefully and this label should be secure. You should also keep your postage receipt as proof of posting your items. This also means that your item can be tracked during transit by your courier or postage service. If you choose not to use our pre-paid label any postage costs are your responsibility and appropriate insurance should be taken out to insure against any losses during transit. We recommend the service, Royal Mail Special Delivery

5.3 Items should be returned along with the dispatch note to: Hatton Garden Metals Ltd, 11 St Cross St, London, EC1N 8UB

5.4 Once the returned item has been checked by us a refund will be issued without unreasonable delay of charge.

6.1 If there is a problem with the goods, please contact the office on 0207 404 4000 or notify us by email or in writing providing details of the problem. It's helpful if you can provide us with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the goods for inspection. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.

6.2 If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacement goods will not be dispatched until the original goods have been received and checked by us.

6.3 Within this time scale we will replace defective goods free of charge, at our discretion, providing that you have returned to us any faulty goods upon request.
