American 1oz Dollar (Liberty and Buffalo)

Did you know?

• First issued in 1986, the 1oz Eagle can only contain gold sourced from American mines.

• Coins minted after 1991 were dated with Arabic numbers instead of the Roman numerals.

• The $50 Buffalo coins were introduced in 2006 and unlike the 22ct Eagle, they were struck in 24ct gold.

• All uncirculated coins are only minted in one-ounce denominations, and carry the "W" mint mark from West Point Mint, the exclusive producer of proof and uncirculated pieces.
