(Kitco News) - According to Chile's National Institute of Statistics (INE), the country's industrial production index (IPI) contracted 1.0% in December 2022 y-o-y due to decrease in the manufacturing sector while mining and electricity, gas and water sectors were up. In 2022, Chile's industrial production fell by 2.4%.
