Do you accept Bitcoin for buying gold?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept Bitcoin as a form of payment for metal. One of the reasons for this is the lack of due diligence that can be credited to a purchase of metal through bitcoin payment. Bitcoin to GBP is calculated on its live market value and the conversion of Bitcoin to GBP is constantly changing, essentially as a currency there is no set price for bitcoin in GBP. For this same reason, and to ensure that our customers are paid the highest prices, we are unable to make payments for gold into Bitcoin accounts.

Why was my card declined?
There are a few possibilities for this.
The details that you have entered on your payment card do not match with the details registered on the account. For example, does the card holder name match with the name on the account registered with Hatton Garden Metals? We also require the same invoice address as your registered card payment. If you are using a card that does not belong to you and is registered to the address on your account then the payment will be rejected.
Your transaction may have been declined for a fraud check by your bank. If this is the case, you should contact your card provider as you will need to deal directly with your bank to resolve this. If the payment has been declined by your bank on our website, your order will not be confirmed and we have no control in assisting you with your bank to correct this. In most cases a call to your card provider will resolve this issue very quickly and allow you to continue using your card for online transactions.
