The definition of a bullion grade coin is: "The coin is considered ‘bullion grade’. Neither the quality nor value of the coin is effected in anyway, and simply refers to the coins having been in circulation and displaying slight wear and tear consistent with the heritage of the coin".
This does not affect the quality of the items. All of our stock is weighed and tested in order to check each individual piece matches the specifications before we can sell this on our site. Buying direct from the mint or manufacturer will mean that you effectively pay more for the same amount of gold which is why buying circulated coins is a great way to get your portfolio started.
